Pace was founded in the year 2000 to provide quality software solution to the local clients in the medical fraternity. Both main promoters, Mr. Pravin Kumar (Managing Director) and Mrs. Sonalika Kumar (Director Systems) are technocrats with deep subject knowledge of software systems and their working. The first product of Pace, ‘Patho Relief’ swept the Vadodara and Gujarat Market after which the company forayed into HIMS (hospital management) and a variety of EMR products for specialist doctors. Currently with a clientele of more than 700 and more than 50 medical specialist products and a sturdy service call centre, Pace is the only one in its field to provide consistent services. Some of the clients are using pace software for more than 13 years. Pace started providing hardware and networking services and turnkey solutions to its software clients 10 years back with the help of its sister concern ‘Sonalika Solutions’. Later ‘Ujjawal Fortune’ another sister concern was established to provide quality trained manpower and licensing consultation for ISO & NABH & Hospital Automation. Pace also ventured into Health Management Reform Consultation. Currently, the latest ventures of Pace are Web solutions and Cloud software.

Strategy

A. Vision statement

• Pace was founded with a vision to create a little time for the ever busy doctors and hospital staff in saving and nurturing human life. So that they do not require to worry about their billing and routine administrative work. Departments like Patho, Radio, Pharmacy could function seamlessly with software with minimum human errors. With the advent of EMR and electronic prescription, the things became even more smooth as we are moving to a global treatment system with an international coding of diagnosis.

B. Mission statement

• Pace is committed to providing state-of-the-art international quality products to local medical clients at local prices. We emphasize on our mantra – Think Global Act Local. We develop software where the user is in charge and will require our minimum help. But we have set up a service call centre with three level services to help even a layman user to keep his software functional.

C. Values

• We believe that whatever may be the roadblock at the client side – hardware, software or manpower difficulties – “the show must go on”. The software should be functional and it should be 100% implemented. PERKS CAN WAIT BUT WORK CANNOT.

D. Business goals & objectives

• We wish to provide international standard EMR products with International global coding data to local hospitals so our medical facilities and doctors interaction can be standardized like the west and reforms can be made in the health sector. We also wish to provide quality manpower to our clients with other turnkey solutions so that a medical setup can become paperless with least investment and minimum hassles.

E. Business strategy

• Currently Pace has its head office in Vadodara, Gujarat and branch offices at Bengaluru, Karnataka and Surat, Gujarat. We are in the process of vertical proliferation of small medical products and horizontal proliferation of the work area in the country. Currently we have a solid presence and base in the western and southern regions of the country and we wish to expand to the northern and eastern regions. Soon we shall be providing cloud services and web solutions to people around the globe.

F. Economic intent

• Pace wishes to provide 100% job satisfaction to each and everyone on its employee roll. For that we are committed to achieve a steady growth rate of 40% in the next 5 years. We also look forward to increasing revenue from packed products and cloud solutions to generate more employement. We take in apprentices and turn them into quality technocrats. The revenue required to training can be generated from manpower training undertaken in client spheres.
